Job Description

EstrellaTV Tampa Bay, Hearst Television’s Spanish language station in the Nation’s 11th largest DMA , is looking to add an Account Executive to our growing team.

Estrella TV offers entertainment shows to counter-program the traditional Spanish language telenovelas on the competition. We also offer premier digital products that allow you to sell both locally and nationally, state-of-the-art sales training, and a winning culture!

You will be responsible for presenting advertising solutions to local businesses and continuing to grow an existing list of clients. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, a self-starter, has strong interpersonal and presentation skills, a positive attitude, and desire to win. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an active account list.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to multiple points of contact with client/agency personnel.
  • Manage inventory and protect station rate structure.
  • Develop new revenue through local business development.
  • Form strategic business and market partnerships.
  • Regularly meet with local and digital sales managers to ensure progression and success with stated goals.
  • Act as negotiator for assigned accounts; ensure sales proposals are consistent with station strategies.
  • Achieve your assigned revenue goals.

Required Skills

Qualifications Requirements:                                              

  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Bilingual; fluently speak and write in both English & Spanish
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Accountability
  • A positive, results-oriented attitude and must be a team player
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Proficiency with Wide Orbit, Kantar and One Domain/WO Media Office is a plus

Education:                                        

  •  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
