Qualifications/Requirements :

• Minimum 4-year college degree

• Minimum 3 years working experience in television sales (preferred) or other media sales

• Must have access to or own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license to fulfill the duties of the sales job

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be willing to work in San Jose, CA

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Must be 18 years of age

**Desired Characteristics**

• Television, agency, production, creative marketing and/or other brand entertainment experience

• Excellent computer skills with MS programs: Excel, PPT, Word and the ability to create innovative presentation decks with expertise

• Adept at prospecting, generating proposals and closing the sale

• Ability to creatively analyze and find solutions to a variety of sales challenges

• Competitive with a desire to win

• Willing to work long hours and host clients at events

• able to work under deadline pressure and meet quarterly revenue goals

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work effectively with others on the sales team and with all levels of station employees and management within a multi-cultural environment

• Demonstrates problem-solving skills; organization skills with a detailed-oriented focus

• Learn NBC sales systems – Salesforce, Traffic/Wide Orbit, and Nielsen ratings
