**Responsibilities**

**Role Summary:**

This Administrative Assistant position will provide administrative support for the Production department of Focus Features. This position will liaise with both internal and external parties and serve as a point of contact for the production team in the Focus New York office. In addition, the position also supports the team’s development slate and participates in work relating to the creative production team.

**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Support the Production department primarily through a range of administrative tasks including answering phones, organizing schedules, planning travel itineraries, confirming meetings, and writing meeting agendas.

+ Handle incoming submissions and coverage to the Focus New York office.

+ Help track and oversee the Focus Features development slate and maintain updated records on all projects in development and production.

+ Participate in company- and department-wide meetings pertaining to the production team.

+ Serve as backup contact for both internal and external communications with the production team through phone and email.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Minimum two years' experience required in a studio creative production department

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.Eligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Willingness to travel if necessary and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

**Desired Characteristics**



+ A keen interest in film and film production

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Working knowledge of PIX and Filemaker Pro

+ Ability to multitask and work under time constraints to meet deadlines.

+ A professional and friendly attitude
