**Responsibilities**

Role Purpose:

The Administrative Assistant will support the EVP, Scripted Cable & Unscripted USA/Syfy, who oversees development and production for Cable Entertainment scripted content and USA/Syfy unscripted content.



Responsibilities:

•Track submissions, update script log, gather competitive information and keep competitive grid current

•Compile weekend read for the department, plus read and participate in scripts discussion

•Update weekly development report and have solid knowledge of doing power point presentations

•Coordinate heavy meetings, maintain files and status reports for all aspects of development and production

•General administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering telephones, scheduling, copying & faxing, filing and planning travel arrangements for executive(s)

•Cover for other assistants as needed including managing calendars and telephones

•Perform other duties as required by management

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree or minimum 3 years of work experience

•Minimum 1 year of administrative experience

•Minimum 1 year of experience with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

**Desired Characteristics**

Desired Characteristics:

•Minimum 1 year of administrative experience at an agency, studio or networking highly preferred

•Must have an excellent phone manner, administrative and organizational skills

•Demonstrated ability to multi-task high priority tasks

•Demonstrated ability to quickly develop internal and external relationships at all levels

•Demonstrated ability to be flexible, personable, follow-through and detail-oriented with the ability to interface with the creative community as well as all levels of NBCU personnel

•Demonstrated experience as a self-starter and forward-thinker
