**Role Summary:**

The Assistant will provide administrative support to the VP of Marketing and have responsibility to support the day-to-day activities of the Focus marketing team.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Assist with administrative duties including, but not limited to: preparation of meeting materials, answering phones, filing, photocopying, messengering correspondence and documents, and purchase order/invoice processing.

+ Support executives with the following: Coordination of creative marketing materials and marketing plans, arrangements with filmmakers and talent, and administrative support for marketing and publicity events.

+ Interact and maintain relationships with members of other business units at Universal, as well as third parties.

+ Manage hectic and ever changing schedules, including handling travel arrangements and expense reports.

+ Conduct research as directed.

+ Provide project back-up as required.

+ Perform other related duties to support the departmental team and Company as requested by management


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor Degree

+ Minimum 2 years of administrative experience handling the demands of an extremely busy office within the entertainment industry, particularly a film production company, motion picture studio or talent agency.

+ Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit discretion required.

+ Knowledge of entertainment executives both internally and externally

+ Knowledge of and working ability in Powerpoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) is strongly preferred.

+ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with individuals internally and externally in the business community; diplomacy is a must.

+ Excellent writing ability. Able to compose, proofread and edit correspondence and other written work.Eligibility Requirements:
