The intern will report to the Head of Distribution, Asia Pacific. He/She will assist the Network Distribution team in market research and affiliate marketing activities that drive CNBC subscription and build brand awareness amongst regional pay-TV platforms.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Preparing collateral for product trainings

• Assisting in conceptualizing sales incentives, viewer loyalty & acquisition campaigns

• Copywriting and planning layout for Distribution EDMs

• Market research for pay-tv industry:

o The intern will be given a topic to research and will be required to present findings to the Network Distribution team

• Manage and liaise with hotels and cable operators on program highlights and schedules

• Assist in coordinating premiums and marketing collateral for regional affiliates (ie: clients/cable operators)

• Work together with other interns on assigned projects

• Presentation of project to the management team at the end of internship

• Partake in and support all c2c related events including playing an active role in the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives

• Any other duties dependent upon varying work requirements


* Ability to commit for 6 months from 2 January 2018 - 29 June 2018

• Interest in Marketing and Market Research

• Proficient in MS Powerpoint and Excel; experience with Photoshop a plus

• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills

• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Ability to take initiative and work independently

• Excellent communication and a great team player

• Ready to learn and is motivated by this exciting “breaking news” industry
