SUMMARY: Responsible for daily operations, analysis, monitoring and maintenance of the Cisco and Avaya Call Manager and peripheral components and end user hardware. Responsible for end to end provisioning and installation of all system adds moves and changes. Serve as departmental liaison for contractor walkthrough, quotes and RMA for all hardware components.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





+ Responsible for daily operations of the Telecommunications department to including of moves, installs, and disconnects. Responsibilities include all phases of programming in the Cisco and Avaya Call Manager, completing work orders to include provisioning and installation; provides uploads and updates for user accounts. Serves as liaison for end users in turn key services.



+ Responsible for programming, maintaining and training end users on PBX and Voicemail features to include, coverage paths; auto-attendants; broadcast messaging. Provides Tier 1 support for end-users.



+ Processes local Telco special circuits request for installations and disconnects. Coordinates service requests with local Telco to report out of service conditions and serves as a liaison between local Telco and end user including 3rd party vendors for circuit connectivity.



+ Coordinates walk-through and quotes, for special cabling projects to include voice/data/fiber installations with telecom technicians and/or outside cabling contractors. Serves as liaison for outside contractors and telecom department. Obtains quotes for cabling materials and places order with appropriate vendors.



+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.



+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements







QUALIFICATIONS:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:





+ Knowledge on CUCM, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Contact Center, Cisco Telepresence, and Jabber.



+ Avaya experience a plus

EDUCATION:





+ Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred









EXPERIENCE:





+ 3-5 years hands-on experience required in a position of similar function and responsibility in a Cisco and/or Avaya environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



+ ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Two day orientation to learn company Policy and procedures. Two week training to learn departmental policies and scope of work.









CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS





+ PBX Basic Administrator certification.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:



While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:





+ Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business.



+ Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) be exposed to loud noises (noise when raised conversation is needed)



+ Will require a valid Florida state driver’s license.
