Job Description

WYFF 4, the Hearst Television Station and NBC affiliate in Greenville, SC has a rare opening for a full-time anchor and reporter.  We are searching for a dynamic journalist to anchor weekend newscasts and report three days a week for our award winning team.  Candidates should have a proven track record of outstanding anchoring, live reporting and strong storytelling.  Candidates are expected to contribute daily to our growing digital audience by breaking stories on our web site and through our mobile app. Candidates are also expected to be proficient and active on social media and to understand a multi-platform approach to breaking news.


  • Anchor weekend newscasts
  • Work with a WYFF 4 photojournalist to produce daily stories for WYFF News 4 Newscasts,, WYFF 4 Mobile and social media.
  • Enterprise stories
  • Identify and handle breaking news on the anchor desk and as a live reporter

Required Skills

  • Must have a valid driver's license       


  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent proven work experience

Required Experience

  • 2 years of experience at a commercial television station. 
  • Knowledge of ENPS and Adobe Premier preferred.
