**Role Summary:**

The Digital Asset Management Department of Universal Pictures is seeking an Annotation Coordinator. The Annotation Coordinator will research and attach metadata to digital photography, artwork, and print-production files in order to enable targeted retrieval and ensure proper file usage and security.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Annotate cast member, set, and prop information on 1,500 – 2000 images a day

+ Annotate usage restrictions and detailed episodic information on images and artwork

+ Review digitized images to ensure appropriate quality and proper categorization

+ Review automated, pre-assigned annotations to ensure accuracy

+ Notify management of matters that are of significant importance to business

+ Ensure that deadlines are met

+ Report to Director of Digital Assets


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

+ Minimum 2 years relevant past work experience

+ Extremely strong attention to detail

+ Ability to quickly recognize and record visual details

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment

+ Ability to follow detailed instructions

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and security

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office products

+ Proficiency in word processing, data entry, and database operation

+ Comfort with computers and willingness to adapt to changing technologies

+ Experience in print trafficking and order fulfillment

+ Familiarity with digital image formats, layout, mechanical and artwork formats and the appropriate uses of each

+ Understanding of art design, finishing, separation, pre-press, proofing and printing processes

+ Ability to work unsupervised

+ Strong communication skills

+ Ability to discern issues requiring independent action from those that should be brought to management

+ Ability to make clear, concise and timely recommendations to Management when serious attention is meritedEligibility Requirements:
