**Responsibilities**

A brilliant opportunity to join one of the world’s most iconic entertainment businesses at a hugely exciting time and play an integral role in the growth of its international portfolio of global channel brands. The Brand Co-Ordinator for Telemundo and Studio Universal will be tasked with supporting the Head of Marketing across both brands including supporting off-air & on-air communication strategies & campaigns.

The role will be supporting the Head of Marketing in interpreting the overarching global brand vision and executing campaigns that deliver against business objectives, across the fast-growing African market. The role requires leading on campaign development/execution/measurement, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing.



Alongside the Head of Marketing, the responsibility of this role also extends to supporting the pulling together of the overall channel strategy and plans for both brands. This involves working closely with a range of departments across the business including On-Air Strategy, Ad Sales, Affiliate Teams, Programming, Research, PR, Production, Creative & Social Content Producers.



The successful candidate will be passionate with high levels of curiosity and creativity, strong ability and willingness to “own” projects, experience in both traditional and digital marketing with a growth mind-set balanced with eagerness to learn and have fun.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Working closely with the Head of Marketing to support the development of the channel and to execute clear overall channel brand strategies and plans that meet ratings and revenue objectives.

• Develop and implement innovative, effective marketing campaigns as/when required across both brands. This includes assisting Head of Marketing in writing creative & media briefs.

• Build a strong partnership with the PR teams to ensure all activities are aligned and integrated, editorial opportunities are maximized and culturally relevant conversations combined with our world-class content are at the heart of our social strategies.

• Be the brand guardian for all things Telemundo and Studio Universal

• Assist in post-campaign evaluation identifying key learnings and successes.

• Support and lead when required, the creative development process both on and off air to deliver excellent creative work, on time and within budget.

• Work closely with On-Air Media Planning to maximize and integrate on and off-air activity.

• Lead on the strategy and campaign development for Studio Universal, including developing strong digital and social campaigns by working closely with the Social Content Producers & Creative Directors to deliver best-in-class creative work.

• Assist and support the Commercial team to help deliver digital activity that grows digital revenue and assist in the execution of sponsorships alongside the Ad Sales function.

• Execute Trade Marketing plans in line with strategy devised by Head of Marketing as/when required.

• Assist in the setting of channel, web and marketing (digital/social medial and traditional) KPIs and reporting on progress/performance on an on-going basis.

• When required, support the management of the work of external agencies and contribute viewpoints on agency performance to Head of Marketing with regards SLA.

• Owner of overall content marketing plans as approved by the Head of Marketing.

• Editorial awareness and knowledge and consideration of compliance.

• Consultation with legal for management of third party agreements and contracts as required.

• Execute partnerships and contra deals in line with Partnership Marketing Strategy devised by Head of Marketing for these channels.

• Execute sponsorships working closely with Sponsorship team.

• Support the reviewing, evaluation and measurement of these channels on and off air activity. Recommend improvements to innovate and optimize effectiveness of activity and company processes.

• Day to day management of the marketing budgets for Telemundo and Studio Universal, including ensuring raising of POs, spend tracking and phasing of marketing budgets in close collaboration with finance teams.



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Experience in working in an international media environment, ideally in film/television

• 1-2 years solid experience working directly in, or alongside a marketing team

• Role requires high levels of organisation, with strong creative skills and the ability to prioritise a large workload according to changing business requirements

• Excellent project management skills and proven ability to multitask

• Solutions focused and self-motivated, with a strong can-do approach

• Demonstrate an ability to interpret research/insight data and turn into tangible talking points internally and externally.

• A basic understanding of campaign development and delivery.

• A basic understanding of marketing across social platforms, including understanding of how different audience needs and behaviours vary across various social platforms.

• A good understanding of content management systems and their use in populating websites with content. Advanced use of Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, Fireworks and other graphics software. Knowledge of FTP, web hosting and traffic reporting. Strong writing and/or editing skills
