**Responsibilities**

This position is to ensure compliance to Universal Studios Home Entertainment, (“USHE”) credit & collection, accounts receivable, billing, and cash application policies & procedures in order to maximize profitability, sales, and cash flow.



Responsibilities include:



+ Supports A/R Analyst in the maintenance of the A/R Analyst’s portfolio of accounts.

+ Performs initial research and review of customer claims to determine validity.

+ Preparation of claim documentation for internal department review (Customer Service, Materials Management, Tradespend, etc.)

+ Maintain status of claims being reviewed by other USHE departments and expected timeline for completion.

+ Upon approval or rejection of a customer’s claim, prepare appropriate credit memorandum and route for approval, or prepare repay letter for the signature of either the A/R Analyst or the Credit Manager.

+ Assist A/R Analyst with the collection of past due invoices, research and review of short-shipments, mis-shipments, and concealed shortages. Pull Proof of Deliveries (POD’s) for questionable short-pays.

+ Assist A/R Analyst in managing 3rd party distribution guidelines related to deduction management and ensure that they are performing their deduction resolution functions correctly in a timely manner

+ Assist A/R Analyst in managing 3rd party distributor requirements such as bi-weekly reporting, additional customer analysis, etc.

+ Perform initial review and matching of returned product deductions and credits. Create offset spreadsheets for upload into SAP, and explanation of residual differences between the deductions and related credits.

+ Any other duties related to Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections that may be assigned.

**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ Knowledge of Windows-based office applications (Word, Excel)

+ Exhibit strong analytical, technical, and research skills.

+ Ability to organize job responsibilities (multi-task).

+ Good communication skills (written and verbal).

+ Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external customers.

**Desired Characteristics**



+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ At least one year of experience in the credit department of a high-volume consumer packaged goods entity.

+ Experience in collection and maintenance of retail, mass merchants and distributor accounts as well as price protection and co-op marketing programs.

+ SAP experience preferred.
