**Responsibilities**

This role is in the London based International Compliance team. The key aim of the role is to:

• Provide overall support and guidance to Compliance and the business in relation to the Intermediary Management System (“IMS”) which is the cornerstone of NBCU’s process for managing intermediaries across the NBCU business, including assessing the risk profile, monitoring the compliance checks and controls and acting as the central repository of information in relation to the intermediaries

• Manage and monitor gift and entertainment within NBCU International

• Support Compliance processes including training, sanctions/AML and competition law

**Qualifications/Requirements**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Intermediary Management

• Update the Compliance Guidance documenting the NBCUniversal intermediary management process and developing online guidance notes and a written procedures manual

• Training legal and business personnel as required on the use of the IMS, plus the intermediary management policy & procedure

• Provide day to day IMS support to the business (new users account creation, queries, reminders)

• Provide systems expertise through training and testing

• Ensure processes and ways of working are consistent across the International businesses

• Drive the audit, control, governance agenda re IMS

• Have functional ownership of IMS within the International Compliance team

• Maintain data integrity on IMS, including compliance monitoring and certification

• Manage the relationship with the system provider, including invoice management

• Run IMS Clinics to address and remedy any IMS related issues

• Manage the metrics/reporting required as part of the compliance process, plus the ongoing compliance monitoring of the intermediary relationships

• Create reports for the Internal Review Board (manage the templates, pull the metrics etc.)

• Respond to routine enquiries about the compliance controls required for intermediaries including giving guidance on resolution of red flags



Gifts and Entertainment

• GBE Workflow administration (new users account creation, queries, reminders, platform upgrades)

• Reporting and metrics from the GBE Approval Workflow



Sanctions, Training, Competition Law

• Manage regular sanctions screening of intermediaries and act as liaison with the Finance team re AML.

• Liaise with Global Learning team in relation to the planning and rollout of the annual Integrity training

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive employee completion rates

• Schedule and record international in-person integrity training



Compliance Operations

• Support of wider compliance projects and initiatives (including trade association and competitor contact tools)

• Conduct and oversight of requirements gathering, functional analysis, and design activities related to existing and new compliance/legal applications

• Participation in the definition, testing, training, implementation and support of compliance/legal system requirements

• Assist in the development and maintenance of user documentation

• Creation of curriculum and provide user training

• Creation, updating, and preserving important corporate records, policies and procedures



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and synthesis large quantities of data to produce workable business solutions

• Strong knowledge and experience of compliance best practices

• Clear communicator, particularly when explaining complex technical principles to non technical audiences

• Ability to troubleshoot and act as the first line of support for new processes and ways of working

• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, be flexible and to thrive in a fast paced environment

• Experience in influencing people at all management levels throughout an organisation

• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly advanced Excel

• Project Management experience helpful

• Knowledge of compliance or related processes in a global organisation, in particular in relation to intermediary management processes and gifts/entertainment is preferred
