**Job Description Summary**

The Coordinator, Category Management, reporting to the Director of Consumables, is responsible for providing support to the team across various category management functions such as coordinating meetings with licensees, data entry, working with team members to pull together creative, sales and marketing materials for meetings/pitches/trade shows. The ideal candidate should have some experience and knowledge of the FILM/TV licensing and retail landscape.

**Key Responsibilities/Requirements**

+ Cultivate and manage strong relationships with internal teams and external licensees

+ Develop sales materials as needed (decks, one sheets, etc.)

+ Data entry of deal memos, follow-up on contracts with internal legal and finance teams to expedite contract drafting and execution with external licensees.

+ Research target companies and categories.

+ Monitor and research relevant competitive licensing opportunities and trends

+ Maintain and update all status reports: retail footprints, category / retail snapshots

+ Provide general support and working on special projects as assigned

+ Travel to assist in pitching, as necessary


+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Minimum of 1+ years' work experience in a media organization

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

+ Must be willing and able to travel, sometimes on short notice.

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Experience in licensing, sales & marketing, business development strongly desired

+ Proficient in Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel and Photoshop desired

+ Self-motivated professional with ability to multi-task across various functions

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Strong organization skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to customize / create sales presentations and other materials as needed

+ Entertainment licensing or retail experience at a corporate level strongly preferred
