**Responsibilities**

The Coordinator is responsible for covering all administrative duties for the Vice President of Communications, USA, SYFY and Universal Cable Productions. In addition, the Coordinator will be responsible for the operational administration and office management for the West Coast Communications office, and day-to-day operational support for the Universal Cable Productions Communications team.



Job Duties



+ Cover the desk for the Vice President of Communications (phones, calendar/scheduling, preparing reports, booking travel, etc.)

+ Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff, other departments, external vendors and consultants

+ Answer telephones, screen calls, route callers, take messages, respond to internal and external inquiries, and provide routine information within scope of authority

+ Research and coordinate daily press clips for afternoon clip report for Universal Cable Productions

+ Work with the USA/SYFY East and West Coast coordinator to research and prepare daily press clips for the AM clip reports

+ Maintain/update Media Village and press contact database

+ Prepare internal and external distributions and correspondence for Universal Cable Productions Communications

+ Gather and prepare the weekly communications reports for the Vice President of Communications and the Universal Cable Productions team

+ Reconcile purchasing cards, executive travel, and expense reports

+ Track, reconcile and file departmental invoices/accounting

+ Prepare programming team calendars

+ Handle office administrative duties for the West Coast Communications office (schedule IT, office supply orders, coordinate drive-ons with security and provide check in instructions, schedule facilities, manage office share drives etc.)

+ Support Universal Cable Productions team on series campaigns as needed

+ Work and facilitate press events including semi-annual press tours, Award Shows, specials and events, town halls

+ Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s degree in communications

+ Minimum 1 year public relations experience, including internships

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Additional Job Requirements
