**Responsibilities**

**Role Summary:**

Coordinator, Consumer Products, International Category Management, for Universal Brand Development is responsible for providing support to the VP of Consumer Products Latin America during the pre & post sales process. The coordinator is also responsible for following up on deal execution to make sure the deals flow through the process smoothly. The position reports to the VP of Licensing for Consumer Products Latin America.

**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Support VP of Licensing & Category Manager for Consumer Products Latin America by assisting in generating licensing partnerships for studio properties across all categories.

+ Support international merchandising agents by assisting in generating licensing partnerships for studio properties across all categories.

+ Respond to cold call inquires / do cold calls to prep leads for the VP of Consumer Products and / or international merchandising agents.

+ Under supervision of VP of Consumer Products, follow up and resolve issues in a timely manner to make sure all aspects of the deal execution flow smoothly. This includes managing all day to day activity / flow of deal, once finalized by VP of Consumer Products, by liaising with international merchandising agents, licensees, and internal retail, promotions, legal, finance, marketing, creative, product development and other internal studio divisions.

+ Under supervision of VP of Consumer Products, enter deal memos for Latin America team and work with international merchandising agents, licensees, legal and finance to expedite contract execution and payments.

+ Prepare and process pitch packets.

+ Travel internationally to assist in pitching, as necessary.

+ Cultivate and manage strong relationships with international merchandising agents, internal executives and licensees

+ When applicable, liaise with international film distribution offices, promotions and retail marketing teams to leverage and expand existing opportunities

+ Develop sales materials as needed (decks, one sheets, etc.), in conjunction with marketing and creative.

+ Research target territories, companies and categories.

+ Monitor and research relevant competitive licensing opportunities and trends

+ Maintain and update all status reports: retail footprints, territories / category / retail snapshots

+ Provide general support and working on special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelors degree

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales administration role.

+ Experience in licensing, sales, marketing, business development, strongly desired

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Ability to collaborate be creative, resourceful. problem-solve and have follow-through, and work independently.

+ Extensive experience using Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop desired

+ Attention to detail

+ Strong organizational skillsEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Must be willing and able to travel, sometimes on short notice.

**Desired Characteristics**



+ Bi-lingual Spanish highly desired

+ Entertainment licensing or retail experience at a corporate level strongly preferred

+ This person must have vision, be collaborative, resourceful, self-motivated, a strategic and creative thinker, flexible, professional and a team player

+ This person must also posses strong initiative and perseverance and be adept at multi-tasking
