As Producer, for the TODAY Show, you Will be required to work overnight in the capacity of a crash producer. Responsibilities will include pitching, developing and turning news od day pieces for next day air.

Job Duties

+ Produce original news content, primarily for broadcast, including research, conducting interviews, writing talent notes, writing and editing scripts, field producing and shooting, and overseeing editing on a short deadline.

+ Producer is expected to both pitch story ideas and work on assigned stories developed by the editorial team.

+ Work with Standards and Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments.


Basic Qualifications

+ Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or a related discipline.

+ 8+ years’ of editorial experience working production, preferably at the network level and within morning televisionAdditional Job Requirements

+ Must be willing to work in New York, NY

+ Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
