The Executive in Charge of Creative Affairs will report to the CCO of Tap Productions to develop and oversee new digital/mobile content for our partners. Tap Productions is the joint venture studio between NBCU and Snap Inc.

• 5+ years leading television production and/or development.

• Proven ability to identify unique ideas and translate them into winning/successful programming

• Degree in Communications, TV/Film or related field preferred

• Extensive knowledge of TV production and post-production techniques

• Proven relationships with producers, production companies and agencies

• Strong relationships with key players in the creative community including artists, agents, creative executives, writers and producers

• Strong knowledge of television, media and the digital/mobile landscape

• Proven knowledge of pop culture, trends, emerging technology and an overall curiosity about the world.

• Strong interest and savvy in digital space, being especially fluent in social media/messaging apps and mobile content platforms

• Ability to work in a professional but non-traditional studio environment.

• Ability to work well under deadlines, manage pressure situations

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Must be a self-starter, extremely organized, with the ability to set priorities and manage a large workload with multiple tasks

• Proven team player in a collaborative environment

• Some night and weekend work/travel may be required

• Self-starter with proven strategic thinking skills

• Collaborative, solutions-oriented and entrepreneurial

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to travel to and work from flexible office spaces and environments

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Proactive, positive thinker with the ability to be flexible, exercise good judgment and take significant initiative in a fast paced, detail oriented environment

• Personable attitude and natural ease working with the creative community as well as all levels of NBCU and Snap staff. Must have professional polish, poise and strong emotional maturity.

• Adaptable to various competing demands, demonstrating the highest level of customer service, response and confidentiality.

• Attention to detail and demonstrated initiative; self-starter with strong decision-making capability

• Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

• Previous experience with project and/or event coordination preferred

• Experience in using technology and the Internet to improve work efficiency. Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with semi-short notice

• Must be willing to work in various locations throughout Los Angeles

• Must have work authorization to work in the United States

• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
