**Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

As Digital Creative Director you will be responsible for leading creative operations for the NBC Sports Group suite of digital products including; the NBC Sports App (live stream application on connected and mobile devices), NBCSports.com, NBC Sports Scores application, Regional sports networks’ websites and applications, Rotoworld.com and applications, and Olympics website and applications. You must be able to lead the ideation process and team from conception, to execution, through on-going in-market management and improvement.



Responsibilities



+ Collaborate with Product Development team leaders to set creative strategy for all NBC Sports Group products

+ Support Sales and Marketing initiatives across the portfolio

+ Innovative thinker that creates and manages best-in-class products

+ Manage internal and external client relationships

+ Lead design team to hit deadlines in a fast paced event based ecosystem

+ Set development/improvement plans for design team members

+ Must be able to formulate and present ideas to peers and executive team

+ Lead cross functional teams to solve problems and launch initiatives

+ Articulate concepts into products and process

+ Highly motivated with a high level of initiative – able to lead through coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ A bachelor’s degree in a creative discipline or equivalent work experience

+ Five (5) years of experience in a similar role and/or managing a team

+ Demonstrated understanding of the underlying technical concepts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

+ Seven (7) years of experience of web, connectedTV and mobile standards, best practices, design and usability principles, and constraints within those formats.

+ Expertise in Adobe creative products- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After EffectsEligibility Requirements
