**Responsibilities**

**Job Description Summary**



The Global Title Management Organization (GTMO) is responsible for accurate and timely maintenance and distribution of NBCUniversal (NBCU) product title information worldwide. The GTMO establishes processes, monitors compliance, and facilitates resolving data-related issues across all NBCU entertainment business units, including feature film, broadcast and cable television, direct-to-video, Digital media, consumer products, news and sports. The Global Title Management (GTM) application is the primary tool used by the GTMO and its related businesses to collect and distribute this title information.



The Data Administrator of GTM performs his/her daily duties as part of the GTMO and under the supervision of the Manager of GTM. The person in this position functions primarily as the customer service point-person for incoming requests and inquiries from the user community with respect to GTM processes and data, and is expected to perform necessary title research to ensure data integrity. He/she is also responsible for analyzing various reports and performing data entry through the GTM application. Light general office duties such as copying and filing are required as well.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**



+ Monitor the GTM request queue and process incoming requests within the one-hour SLA

+ Communicate with business unit representatives to clarify requested data, if necessary

+ Field questions and problems coming from the user community via phone and email

+ Update GTM with information appearing in business reports

+ Conduct title research through the Internet, NBCU intranet systems and internal resources, and by interacting with business unit representatives

+ Identify data clean-up issues in GTM, alert the GTMO and assist in performing correction activity

+ Maintain data files for departmental metadata documents and reports

+ Monitor user activity in GTM for compliance with departmental and company policies and standards

+ Assist the Manager and Director of GTM within the administrative arena

+ Perform special projects as directed by management.

+ Participate in required meetings with the GTMO including weekly staff meeting, various conference calls and live meetings throughout the NBCU campuses

+ Propose suggested application enhancements as needs arise

**Qualifications/Requirements**

**Required:**



+ Minimum two years of business experience in the motion picture, television and/or home entertainment industry

+ Must be able to work regular schedule of 9:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M PST Monday-Friday

+ Must be able to clearly communicate with business unit representatives by phone and email, responding to inquiries and providing instructions related to data in TM

+ Must be detail-oriented, with demonstrated analytical skills to assist in identifying and solving data problems

+ Must be able to work on several projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on department’s objectives

+ Must already be a part of the OPEIU Local 174 Union or willing to join **Education:**

+ College coursework, degree or comparable industry experience preferred

+ Ability to adapt quickly to changing department processes and new systems

+ Ability to build good rapport with others; display sensitivity to differing communication styles

+ Basic proficiency in use of Windows-based computer applications, experience with database technology and with NBCU Information Systems

+ Knowledge of studio-wide operations, including distribution (theatrical, TV, home video), legal/contract analysis, finance/accounting, and technical services
