Job Description

Do you like to own your work and have the freedom to take initiative?  16WAPT, a Hearst-owned ABC affiliate in Jackson, MS, and The One to Watch in the Jackson Metro Area, is hiring for the position of a Full-Time Digital Client Specialist. 

In this role, you will work in partnership with the Digital Sales Manager and directly with our sales force on all aspects of Digital Advertising campaigns.  This is a great opportunity for someone able to maintain a high level of accuracy and work well under deadline pressure.   Job Responsibilities:                                                   

  • Campaign Management and Performance Analysis
  • Proactively monitor, analyze and optimize, all online advertising campaigns from creating the insertion order through post-campaign reporting
  • Work directly with the sales team on processing advertising contracts, obtaining creative materials, coordinating the schedule and launch of advertising campaigns
  • Accurately manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Communicate daily with Digital vendor partners
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Provide direct support to the Digital Sales Manager
  • Prepare strategic PowerPoints for customers & in-house (station) presentations
  • Pull, understand and interpret performance reports

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for independent work and the ability to contribute and work closely with other team members.
  • Experience with web/creative/ad serving technologies such as Google Analytics, ComScore, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience or a working knowledge of Programmatic Advertising.
  • Self-starter with a strong focus on teamwork
  • Extreme attention to detail and desire to exceed client expectations
  • Organizational skills
  • Related military experience will be considered

Required Experience

Education

  • Degree in or pursuit of BA/BS in related field or equivalent work experience including related military training and experience
