Job Summary

This is a job for strong writers. Looking for reliable self-starter with at least 3-5 years experience writing copy/creative in a digital marketing environment. Position entails becoming the subject matter expert for 5-8 current television series; collaborating with Creative Team to engage audience across all digital and social platforms; breaking down episodes for storylines and promotional opportunities, including loglines, recaps, email newsletters, video title and descriptions, SEO, social posts and all manner of derivative content, including scripts for digital exclusive promotions. This position reports to the Digital Creative Director. Writing samples and writing test required.

Essential Responsibilities

+ Craft tight, compelling, error-free copy, emails, scripts, and newsletters

+ Digital video production/editing experience a plus

+ Brand voice management

+ Demonstrate ability to engage consumers in storytelling through marketing

+ Social account moderation

+ Select clips and highlights that best represent an episode and have viral potential

+ Brainstorm on creative ideas to expand the brand of a show

+ Attend department meetings on behalf of the group

+ Review episodes and identify promotional opportunities, including picking show highlights and suggesting derivative content for digital platforms including Facebook, YouTube, etc.


Basic Qualifications:

+ Experience publishing with CMS, working with digital project management systems

+ Proven ability to perform under deadline pressure

+ Impeccable writing skills and a devotion to accuracy

+ 3-5 years experience in a similar role

+ Bachelor’s DegreeEligibility Requirements:
