**Role Summary:**

The Digital Marketing group is under the umbrella of Universal Pictures mktg. The department is responsible for creating and maintaining an online presence for all theatrical releases across the internet and mobile devices, and is often the arena in which movies are initially introduced to the marketplace. This includes the official websites, ad creative, rich media, co-branded websites, and on-line publicity and promotions.

The individual in this position will have creative asset management responsibilities while at the same time fulfilling all administrative duties. Exceptional communication skills both one-on-one and across all levels of management are crucial. Individuals must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, and to efficiently juggle a workload in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines. On a daily basis, the position requires someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, has the ability to seek out information from appropriate sources and has exceptional follow-through. Attention to detail is extremely important.

Individuals in this job must possess solid computer, writing, and technical skills, including a familiarity with digital video production and web development. Strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint experience is a must. Experience with Photoshop is also highly desirable as it may be necessary to assist the creative team with image resizing.

The position reports to the Vice President, Digital Marketing.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Be self-reliant and able to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks independently

+ Coordinate with other members of the Digital Marketing team in ensuring we’re all working towards a common goal and to bridge work-gaps in the department when necessary.

+ Maintain group assets FTP, and independently handle day-to-day asset requests from internal and external sources

+ Handle administrative tasks for VP, Digital – scheduling, conference calls, travel, expenses etc

+ Oversee contract issuance

+ Manage asset uploads and user access for Digital extranet

+ Oversee implementation and fulfillment of promotional programs

+ Coordinate vendor photography and asset pulls

+ Create and traffic specialty department requests, including but not limited to evites and press mailers.

+ Purchase URLs and manage URL database (including DNS management)

+ Access web reporting systems (Omniture, Responsys, etc.) to monitor traffic to web site and features

+ Access research systems (Media Metrix, Forrester, etc.) – to provide data on top sites and trends

+ Pull website stats and traffic information when needed

+ Other campaign reporting as required


Basic Qualifications:

+ At least 2 years of experience in the entertainment industry specifically digital marketing, production, or post-production

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint

+ Working knowledge of PhotoshopEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

**Desired Characteristics**

+ 4 year college degree in marketing or related field is preferred but not required
