The Product Development & Strategy Manager will manage the distribution strategy for tent-pole events, such as Olympics and FIFA World Cup, across various platforms and partners, finding innovative solutions to drive video usage. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert and product champion communicating across all key stakeholders and will be responsible for managing the requirements, execution, performance and profitability of his/her projects, including project definition, justification, development and delivery.


+ Drive multi-platform video performance and monetization through collaborative programming and product-development initiatives, hands-on project management, and successful cultivation of on-going internal and external partnerships.

+ Responsible for strategic vision and rationale, definition of requirements, technical oversight, cross-functional execution, process, and operations.

+ Identify and define platform-based business opportunities in collaboration with all departments and levels within the company including Business Development & Sales, Cable and Broadcast Networks, Operations, Finance, Ad Sales, Marketing, Legal and Business Affairs.

+ Utilize data insights, competitive analysis and market trends to assess fit, feasibility, and financial impact of product and partnership growth opportunities; drive projects from conceptualization to completion.

+ Partner with Tech & Ops teams to ensure that product deployments perform in accordance with client expectations and content distribution rights, understanding legal context and contractual commitments.

+ Managing forecast models to predict cross-platform video viewership for VOD and linear content


Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 3-5 years Product/Business Development experience ideally in the media/tech industry

+ Outstanding communication and project management skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Operations & Research leadership to foster shared ownership of product deliverables and shape and refine market specific agendas

+ Familiarity with emerging digital media platforms and technology

+ Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and ExcelAdditional Job Requirements
