The Sales Planner is primarily responsible for the development of strategic sales proposals that meet both the advertiser and network’s needs. This role will be supporting the Entertainment group.

u> _Proposal Creation:_

+ Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives

+ Address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of NBC

+ Build media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails

+ Prepare and revise Upfront and Scatter sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements

+ Assist with pricing and analyzing of upfront and scatter packages at the opportunity level with Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance

+ Collaborate and brainstorm with the team in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals

+ Ensure media plans include accurate pricing and utilize approved products and available inventory and adhere to defined business processes to ensure optimal program performance

+ Complete additional projects as directed by Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance management

+ Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials _Proposal Maintenance:_

+ Work closely with Sales and Commercial Ops to manage all preemptions and programming changes - recommend schedules according to availability, generate flow charts to reflect all changes, cancellation option and expansion options

+ Work closely with Inventory Managers to coordinate plan revisions _Client Service:_

+ Develop strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisers

+ Assist in the creation of effective go to market tools for the sales team

+ Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners

+ Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research

+ Liaise with Sales, Strategic Planning, Ad Sales Finance, Commercial Ops, and Marketing to ensure sold schedules run as ordered, including all media/sponsorship elements



+ Bachelor's degree

+ 12 to18 months related experience in media sales or buying

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research

+ Strong knowledge of media math and audience metrics _ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:_
