**Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

Are you a leader, capable of managing and running a high-volume digital sports news desk? Do you have a curiosity and interest in emerging technologies related to digital publishing? NBC Sports Bay Area is looking for a dynamic content creator and platform manager for nbcsportsbayarea.com.



Job Duties



+ Maintain NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California website utilizing Drupal CMS to build and manipulate pages based on current events

+ Coordinate with digital insiders to develop and refine written franchises

+ Manage delivery and analyze daily and monthly analytics

+ Intradepartmental liaison -News: Alert and provide easy access to quality dotcom content -Art: Work to create assets for new initiatives -Sales: Regular meetings to establish content to sell, strategies and accommodations -Marketing: Aligning initiatives

+ Work with Stamford product team to ensure all site updates are communicated to team with expectations for usage

+ File tickets in JIRA and follow through to implementation for any site bugs or requests

+ Spearhead effort to leverage emerging platforms and technologies to make the most of our content

+ Maintain day-to-day producer schedules

+ Ensure sponsored elements are set up properly and clearly communicated from sales team to production team

+ Provide voice of reason !!

+ Tech ninja/computer problem solver !!

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in digital publishing

+ Minimum five (5) years in a technical role Additional Qualifications

+ Knowledge of current San Francisco professional sports

+ Ability to maintain a flexible scheduleAdditional Job Requirements
