**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a strategic, creative marketer with a passion for building effective, out-of-the-box integrated marketing plans, a dynamic leader who can manage a team through campaign execution and an effective collaborator who can work well across departments.



The Director of Consumer Marketing position at Universal Kids will report to the Vice President of Brand and Consumer Marketing and be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of integrated marketing plans for key shows across both preschool/Sprout and 6-11 year old/family programming. The Director will devise campaign strategy, ideate campaign ideas with our internal creative agency and bring thru-the-line campaigns to market with innovative activation plans that touch traditional media, social media, influencers, events, PR, partnerships, celebrity talent and more. In addition, he/she will lead high-profile brand activations, manage key partnerships and oversee consumer product initiatives.



Role includes:

• Lead consumer marketing for high-profile shows including go-to-market plan, campaign strategy and creative briefs, media plans and execution

• Work with internal creative team (internal creative “agency”), manage media agency and collaborate across NBCUniversal departments to lead campaign development and execution

• Manage talented junior Consumer Marketing team to bring plans to market

• Build 360 degree marketing campaigns using traditional media, social media, influencers, events, PR, partnerships and collaborations with in-house digital team

• Liaise with Consumer Products department

• Oversee Consumer Marketing budget

• Lead high-profile brand events and activations

• Think big and do—come up with big, breakthrough campaign ideas that make the most of budgets while leading a team to execute with excellence

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a 360 degree consumer marketing role - client or agency side
