NBCUniversal Brand Development is a division that creates and extends quality entertainment that positively impacts audiences through universally engaging stories, play and experiences.

The Director, Finance is an integral member of the NBCUniversal and the Universal Brand Development finance team. The core accountability is to lead & drive the financial planning & analysis, and provide operational guidance for Universal Brand Development’s growth businesses and taking ownership in the financial performance management for these areas. Reporting to the VP, FP&A, this role will also collaborate closely with Business Development, Games, Live Entertainment, Marketing and Controllership.

Job Duties:

+ Partner with business / category leads to provide financial analysis and decision support for business expansion and new business models

+ Support VP, Finance with financial planning and analysis across Budget, Forecast and Long Range Planning cycles.

+ Drive analyses and support for key growth areas/initiatives within Games and Live Entertainment businesses.

+ Provide industry trend analyses for targeted categories.

+ Create and maintain revenue regression models, green light analyses, and marketing spend models

+ Work with the Finance and Business teams to set up new processes and procedures, and opportunities for operational improvements

+ Lead on special projects and other duties as assigned.

+ Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

+ Minimum 7 years experience in finance

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel

+ General accounting knowledge preferred

+ Experience in Finance for Mobile Games & Digital platforms strongly preferred.Additional Job Requirements

**Desired Characteristics**

Desired Qualifications:

+ Understanding of Accounting and forecasting for subscription based game models

+ Good understanding of monetization on free-to-play platforms

+ Proficiency and experience with SAP

+ Outstanding interpersonal skills, team ethic, and the ability to interact with all levels of management

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments and work well under pressure

+ Must be accurate, highly organized with great attention to detail

+ Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated initiative

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Applicant should be a team player and be able to work with a variety of personalities

+ Strong leadership skills and ability to work across multiple divisions

+ Experience in leading a team

+ Takes initiative and lead on projects
