**Qualifications/Requirements**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

B2B

 Own the relationship between the International & UKEM marketing team and the two respective Ad Sales groups.

 Increase the revenue potential of planned marketing activities, and vice versa, the marketing potential in Ad Sales proposals.

 Create and deliver trade marketing activity that drives revenue generation in UKEM and/or International.

 Oversee key sales events that support revenue generation (Up-fronts, Ad Sales Summit; Media Agencies’ Road-shows, Affiliate Summit and others)

 Lead efforts to support local market trade marketing requirements

B2C

 Build Partnerships that build relevance and awareness of our Networks brands. Including digital products in E! News and SYFY WIRE (tbc)

 Oversee development of marketing activity for multi-territory/global programming launches. Work closely with local markets to ensure successful implementation

Brand Marketing

 Brand Management of London-based brands and their associated activities.

 In collaboration with creative, lead process of new brand development.

Driving World-Class Activity

 Lead by example, building a strong collaboration with stakeholders, particularly international creative and programming, and local market teams.

 Identify and implement tactics that drive innovation in marketing excellence.

 Oversee rollout of annual Learning Calendar that builds business knowledge and identifies new high-ROI innovations

 Foster a culture of excellence among the teams in local markets; lead them towards the common vision

People

 Establish strong partnerships with functional heads regionally, with the local and international teams

 Motivate and develop regional marketing team; inspire and partner with the local teams

 Team management, development and engagement.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 Solid experience in strategic and operational marketing – B2B and B2C. Ideally management of portfolio of brands, media buying, digital and Social Media activations within international TV/content business.

 Demonstrated experience in building ideas/concepts that attract interest of advertisers and media agencies.

 Demonstrated delivery of innovation

 Strong and proven project management skills

 Previous position in International organisations preferred, ideally TV/content business

 Strong commercial understanding (ad sales, affiliate sales)

 Self-starter with good sense of prioritisation and hands on approach, able to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines within matrix structure.

 Strong analytical skills, understanding of market research.

 Good communicator with strong interpersonal and business skills, confident in communication with senior management/clients, confident in taking speaker opportunities with media.

 Strong written and presentation skills (preparing and giving presentations to senior management, clients, big audiences).

 Experience in managing teams and agency relationships.

 Enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable.

 Fluent English; second language preferable.

 Eligible to work in UK

 Willingness to travel

 Openness to flexibility on hours, and on weekends, sometimes with short notice for Trade Marketing events
