Essential Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement the brand marketing strategy for our channel portfolio across LATAM.

+ Safe guard our brands across all departments, ensuring we follow the style guide and brand positioning for each of the channels. Become brand expert and cascade knowledge and strategy to all relevant departments and regions.

+ Act as the bridge and point of contact to Central team regarding business update, brand change, materials and resources

+ Develop the marketing budget to support agreed strategy and after corporate approval, manage the budget throughout the year. Oversee project budgets as relevant, including sourcing competitive quotes, negotiating media buys, and advertising budgets, brand experiences and below the line activation.

+ Ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with KPI’s and with content strategy.

+ Manage relationships with a range of key stakeholders, e.g. customers, marketing colleagues, platform marketing teams and media agencies.

+ Manage agency relationships with media, online, promotional, merchandising and research agencies. Develop briefs for, and manage agency implementation of activities where required

+ Oversee the day to day management and operations of the brand marketing team.

+ Monitoring competitor activities.Leadership Responsibilities

+ Directly responsible for overseeing two brand managers in Miami, and indirectly managing regional brand coordinators

+ Responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing team.Responsibilities are not limited to the above description with other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

+ At least 10 years’ experience in a broadly based marketing management role, including accountability for budget and planning.

+ Direct team management experience of at least 3 years.Additional Job Requirements

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Must be a strategic thinker

+ Experience working within small to medium sized budgets

+ Online and/or digital media experience. Knowledge of these marketing channels is essential.

+ Ability to understand, interpret and action television ratings and other research and performance data such as advertising campaign results

+ Experience in organizing & hosting high profile events and functions.

+ Experience managing and implementing both quantitative and qualitative research

+ Confident and ability to conduct presentations to large audiences

+ Proficient in Microsoft applications especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Photoshop and CMS knowledge an advantage.

+ High levels of initiative with positive energy, able to work independently in a team environment.

+ Good influencing and persuasive skills. Must have well-developed negotiating skills.

+ Ability to work effectively with different teams and cultures.

+ Excellent writing & communication skills.

+ Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.

+ Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

+ Organized with excellent time management. Resourceful & driven.

+ Familiarity & passion for NBCUniversal brand is a plus.
