We rent lighting equipment, including LED technology, rig sets, rent a fleet of production vehicles, and house the largest collection of props and wardrobe in Hollywood. • Responsible for planning and monitoring the day to day operations strategy, teams, equipment and solutions for NBCUniversal West Coast Studio Services Operations.

• This Director will liaise with VP to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.

• Manage and coordinate all production support requirements to ensure that all aspects of the production go as planned.

• Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback.

• Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.

• Ensure that business development opportunities for new work are maximized in line with the corporate strategy.

• Manage procurement process and coordinate material and resource allocation.

• Manage, analyze, and reposition production support assets over different regions in which NBC Universal has active productions,

• Oversee customer support process and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.

• Revise and/or formulate polices and promote their implementation.

• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.

• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

• Identify training needs and develop programs that to increase operational capabilities.



• Must have an acute understanding of the production process across multiple crafts.

• Fluent in the production process, with the knowledge and understanding of the financial expectations and requirements put forth by production.

• Broad understanding of motion picture and television lighting, grip, and electrical equipment.

• Must have a thorough understanding of emerging LED Technologies and its impact on the industry.

• Strong background in asset management with the ability to ensure maximum utilization of assets across all productions

• Strong computer literacy in inventory tracking systems and RFID technology.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency

• Able to organize, prioritize and execute numerous complex projects in parallel.

• Must handle stressful situations professionally and confidentially as well as interact with co-workers and clients professionally.

• Must be an affective trouble shooter, communicator, and problem solver

**Desired Characteristics**


• Minimum 10 years of senior management expertise overseeing production support services within the Film and Television industry.

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all motion-picture, television, broadcast, and events support services, along with continuous shifts that are taking place within the industries competitive landscape.

• Proven knowledge of motion picture and television production support services. Including lighting and grip equipment, supplies, and personnel.

• Experience working with and supporting multiple stakeholders, vendors, and customers.

• Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including executives, operational supervisors, and front line crew.

• Ability to navigate through very complex situations and personalities.

• Ability to coach employees, encourage teamwork and promote high standards of customer services.

• Strong communication and written skills.

• Strong computer skills: ability to understand multiple operating systems.

• Strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen.
