Job Purpose:

This position will assist the VP in financial oversight across Current and Development Programming, including Primetime Scripted & Reality, Late Night, Daytime, and Development. This position will have responsibilities across the entire portfolio with an emphasis on Primetime & Non-Prime Programming. This position will have 1 direct report.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Partner with VP on management of all financial aspects of Network Primetime, Development & Non-Prime budget, including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow

+ Own & manage all financials aspects of & presentations for Non-Prime Dayparts (Late Night, Daytime & All Night) including monthly report outs to President of Late Night

+ Manage direct report in overseeing all external and internal cash flow for programming group including pacing, variance analysis & ad hoc analysis

+ Coordinate key NBCU planning cycles (Long Range Plan, Budgets, Estimates & Closes) for the Programming group with additional focus on relationship with UTV

+ Responsible for coordinating monthly pacing and quarterly close processes

+ Ensure strong controllership across the group, including owning the B/S review with the CFO, preparing/reviewing account reconciliations, Balance Sheet/Cash Flow analysis

+ Liaison with Network Entertainment FP&A as well as Universal Television for all P&L submissions and quarterly tie-outs

+ Manage, identify and highlight business risks and opportunities throughout the quarter

+ Liaison with internal & external audit teams

+ Partner with Business Affairs, Scheduling & Creative to ensure cost commitments are accurate

+ Prepare and participate in presentations for senior management


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

+ Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills

+ Strong analytical skills required – organized, accurate & detail-oriented

+ Must have excellent PC skills with proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

+ Knowledge of SAP General Ledger preferredEligibility Requirements:
