• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science and 10+ years leading engineering & technology teams in the TV, cable or media industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Demonstrated success of developing leaders and organizations into highly functioning and efficient engineering teams

• Strong knowledge of linear video distribution engineering concepts including content provider and MVPD architecture

• Proven ability to lead 24/7 support of a large operation with defined escalation processes and procedures; Proven ability to manage multiple, urgent priorities simultaneously

• Understanding of digital workflows and Transcoding systems

• Knowledge of master control technologies, workflows and uplink systems

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and deliver regular clear, concise reports detailing system performance and reliability

• Strong leadership, people management and communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to engineering professionals, software developers and operations staff

• Strong financial planning and tracking skills

• Strong project management skills, capable of managing many competing projects and priorities simultaneously

**Desired Characteristics**

• Masters Degree preferred
