NBCUniversal media labs is looking for an experienced product manager with a technical background to work closely with our brand customers and our product development team to lead customer engagement, identify business opportunities driven by emerging technologies, and drive product ideation and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Research: Evaluate emerging technology trends and the strategic business opportunities they present.

• Customer Engagement: Work with brand customers to identify business challenges, propose solutions and develop product strategy.

• Product Vision, Design & Prototyping: Develop storyboard to communicate product vision, features and user journey to technical team.

• Road mapping: Plan and prioritize what (and when) the product team will deliver.

• Product Delivery/Handoff: Lead product development team and work with all cross-functional teams on product delivery implementation and documentation.

• Drive Enterprise adoption: Define and execute a strategy that would enable scaled adoption of media labs initiatives across the broader NBCUniversal landscape. Work with relevant enterprise teams on hand off and go forward roadmap and delivery.


Experience and Qualifications:

• Self-starter, with strong verbal and written communication skills able to present complex technical information clearly to a variety of audiences.

• Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems.

• Experience turning business requirements into detailed functional design specifications.

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of new products and resolve operational issues.

• Experience with digital media platforms

• Familiarity in emerging technologies and digital products

• Background in media production, distribution and ad tech.

• Technical degree with 7+ years in a technical program and product management role.
