• Minimum 10 years senior management experience in managing a transportation division for studio operations, broadcast, or production environment

• Bachelor’s degree in business management and/or logistics.

• Proven track record leading large transportation team and and prior working experience with employee policies with regard to the Teamsters Local 399 Hollywood.

• Extensive experience managing staff, setting and maintaining schedules and performance measurements.

• Proven experience cultivating relationships with corporate and finance executives, production executives, unit production managers, transportation coordinators and transportation captains.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

• Geographic knowledge of the Los Angeles area preferred.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.

• Experience managing complex budgets including capital projects.

• Strong communication, relationship management and team building skills.

**Desired Characteristics**


• Must be able to understand, analyze, and interpret compliance regulations and to make recommended courses of action.

• Possesses highly effective management skills and strong leadership presence necessary to operate in a highly pressurized studio production environment.

• Must have the ability to multi-task and drive operations in a fast-paced environment and willingness to respond to any situation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

• Ability to work in a team environment while balancing the needs of different business units with competing priorities.

• Helpful and positive demeanor to strengthen relationships with different business units such as theme park and studio representatives.

• Projects a positive attitude and/or enthusiasm for the job, program and respect for others while supporting others in developing a positive outlook for the department.

• Consistently exhibits a quest for excellence, striving to constantly improve and develop more efficient systems that produce an improved level of service and processes.

• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive in decision making
