The Director of Video Products position will be responsible for the ideation and execution of NBC-branded video products across web, mobile, and living room platforms. Reporting to the VP of Product you will inform, coach, and drive a product team focused on increasing user engagement, satisfaction and retention. You will passionately pursue new features and user experiences that enhance the growth and monetization of our products. You are someone that can think big and then roll up your sleeves to get it done.



Essential Responsibilities:



+ Drive the execution of a multi-platform entertainment service on mobile devices, streaming boxes, game consoles, smart TVs and the web

+ Manage the video product management team, driving them to perform at the highest level

+ Collaborate with Design, Technology, PMO, Content, and Marketing teams on projects and work closely with them to ensure product specifications meet their needs

+ Maintain a backlog of future features and experiences that will help the business win

+ Work with the Data Science team to define rigorous KPIs and develop clear and actionable insights from the metrics gathered through various systems

+ Lead the execution of the product roadmap by prioritizing and communicating to internal and external stakeholders

+ Be a strong and vocal voice of the consumer

+ Iterate on current products by driving testing and experimentation of concepts

+ Gather and define product requirements according to business goals and needs and review user stories from team members

+ Develop and nurture relationships with external platform partners and technology vendors

+ Work with the Sponsored and Show Products Senior Director to create long-term goals and convergence opportunities

+ Keep on top of industry trends, technologies, and techniques

+ Identify and push through new opportunities for NBC Digital to expand footprint and customer engagement

**Qualifications/Requirements**



Basic Qualifications:



+ Minimum 10 years of proven Product Management experienceEligibility Requirements:

+ Solid examples of bringing new digital products to life from concept through launch

+ Previous experience working in an agile development environment

+ Strong experience in developing mobile, web, and living room products for consumers

+ Deep understanding of Apple and Google ecosystems

+ Knowledge of video and content technology including production work streams, content management systems, and digital asset management

+ Outstanding leadership skills with proven experience directly managing staff

+ Extremely detail oriented and organized

+ Proven ability to lead meetings and workshops to drive to conclusion and next steps

+ Comfortable working in a collaborative, competitive, fast-paced environment

+ Able to develop talent on the team through direct coaching and consistent feedback

+ Strong understanding of data capture and analysis tools including Mixpanel and Omniture

+ Experience in defining and executing A/B tests across platforms

+ Experience leveraging social networks and an understanding of how to create user habit

+ Curious in nature and able to balance what the data says with what your gut tells you

+ Experience with subscription-based services including identity management and billing systems is highly desirable
