SUMMARY: Drive shuttles on property between the UO Resort Hotels, Transportation Center, and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.







ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





+ Drive Shuttle bus on assigned route daily in safe and efficient manner. Load and unload Team Members/ Guests, while maintaining appropriate passenger manifests per department Policy and Procedure.



+ Positively engage and interact with Team Members/ Guests, while maintaining expected guest safety and service levels.



+ Clean bus and facilities, inspect bus for service issues and report to appropriate contact, daily.



+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.







+ Perform other duties as assigned.









SCOPE: Driving, maintain documentation per policy, procedures and DOT standards, provide guests service to Back of House Team Members and guests. Maintain quality and safety standards.











Requirements







QUALIFICATIONS:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:







EDUCATION:





+ High school degree or GED









EXPERIENCE:





+ Year: Six months to one year previous bus driving experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.









CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS





+ Commercial Driver’s License, Class B with a P endorsement required. Will be required to undergo Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and random drug testing.









PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:





+ Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) Sitting for prolonged periods, hearing audile alarms, & voice commands.



+ Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) Talking, Climbing stairs/ladders, ability to work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting.



+ Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) Standing for prolonged periods, walking for prolonged periods, reach, pull, push with hands and arms above head, lifting up to 10 pounds w/ control, ability to work in an environment with flashing lights including strobe lamps.



+ Specific vision requirements for this role may include: close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus while in changing light conditions e.g., sunshine to indoor or dark conditions).









WORK ENVIRONMENT:



While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:





+ Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) Will require transporting 16 or more passengers. Will require use of motorized vehicles for company business. Valid Florida State Driver License.



+ Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) Will require working with oils/fuels.



+ Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat, or cold, working with aerosols (spray paints, brake cleaner), working in an environment where noise level is loud conversation.
