**Responsibilities**

Define/devise/drive content that uses our large stores of data to tell interesting stories that engage fans to voice their opinions and debate across multiple channels.



• Develop and lead the editorial evolution of Rotten Tomatoes(RT) as we continue to build our multi-platform destination for opinion and debate

• Build and lead a world-class team of creators with expertise in using analytical data to create engaging content

• Manage a dynamic editorial slate covering film, TV, entertainment culture, and the people who love & make them

• Develop KPIs and maintain a focus on performance and fan satisfaction to grow traffic, social engagement, and revenue

• Proactively seek out new editorial ideas, approaches, events, franchises, and opportunities

• Lead editorial efforts for international RT content

• Must have significant editorial and strategy experience across digital media

• Must have a proven track record of using analytical data to create editorial content

• Must have extensive contacts/relationships and knowledge of the workings of the entertainment industry

• Must have a deep understanding of the role of social media in content development and distribution

• Must be a passionate fan of movies and TV

• Editing, creating and organizing editorial aspects of sponsored content programs

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Bachelor’s Degree (English, Journalism, Communications or related field)

• 10+ years of related communications experience, preferably in Media or Advertising

• High personal/editorial standards

• Previous editorial experience, especially in a decision-making capacity

• Thorough understanding of digital media strategy, audience development, and social media distribution

• Keen understanding of effective content channels including digital, social, video, print, etc.

• Energetic and committed

• Excels in interpersonal communications/Effective in a matrixed environment

• Superior presentation and written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leader, good sense of teamwork

• Ability to work effectively with diverse viewpoints and approaches

• Firm and prompt decision-maker

• Explores and embraces innovative technologies
