Job Purpose:

+ The Entertainment Coordinator will provide administrative support to the both the Vice President and Director of Current Programming at NBC Entertainment, and serve as office liaison communicating with internal NBCU divisions as well as the external business and creative community.Essential Responsibilities:

+ General Administrative duties including: answering telephones, scheduling, arranging drive-ons, scanning, filing, submitting expenses and planning all travel arrangements for executives

+ Maintain submission log & internal library of incoming scripted material

+ Coordinate meetings; maintain files and status reports for all aspects of production

+ Distribute dailies, call sheets, script revisions etc. when needed

+ Conduct research on request and maintain a general awareness of industry trends, formats, talent and competitive environment

+ Assist in communication with the creative community on a daily basis

+ Maintain confidential material and practice discretion in sharing information

+ Will be a team player and cover for other department assistants as needed


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

+ Minimum 1 year experience within studio, network, and agencyDesired Characteristics:

+ 2 years entertainment experience

+ Strong and quick ability to provide television drama & comedy script coverage and loglines

+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Proactive, positive thinker with the ability to be flexible and prioritize needs.

+ Ability to exercise good judgment and significant initiative in a fast paced, detail oriented environment

+ Personable attitude and ability to interface with the creative community as well as all levels of the NBCU staff

**Desired Characteristics**

Eligibility Requirements:
