The Field Producer is responsible for coordinating every aspect of the production on locations to carry out production plan developed by the Supervising Producer.

+ Reviews daily production plan and arranges/coordinates work to be done during shooting of the scenes according to the plan

+ Supervises various departments including scenery, make-up and wardrobe and ensures they are ready prior to shooting each scene

+ Responsible for managing production logistics and other elements needed for shooting on locations

+ Leads production team, coordinates shooting times and designates break times

+ Ensures that shootings start on time according to the schedule provided by the Supervisor Producer

+ Responsible for knowing all the pertinent information regarding the guidelines, rules, agreements and contracts for the different sites used

+ Organizes and coordinates the mobile unit, transportation and other logistics upon receipt of the specifics of each shooting location

+ Reviews all preselected location sites in an effort to ensure location is appropriate for shooting and in conformance with EHS requirements prior to the Locations Manager booking locations

+ Communicates shooting information to the Assistant Director

+ Acts as the contact person/liaison for the talent in an effort to resolve any issues

+ Maximizes shooting time and resolves different issues and conflicts that might delay the production

+ Proposes changes and modifications that will enhance the production plan using his/her knowledge of the different locations and about the elements involved in the production

+ Prepares all the elements needed for the production on locations

+ Assists the Director in managing shooting times in order to meet the production goals established in the daily plan

+ Responsible for keeping the General Producer updated in regards to changes to the production plan as requested by the Director and/or shootings being cancelled

+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and suppliers

+ Oversees the conditions and logistics of rented equipment

+ Supervises expenses incurred while shooting on different locations and ensures all expenses have the appropriate documentation and approvals/signatures from the General Producer

+ Monitors and approves use of petty cash

+ Approves and signs time cards submitted by employees

+ Coordinates with the Telemundo Studios Vendor Management Specialist that all production providers are in compliance with company policies

+ Responsible for ensuring the proper and safe usage of assigned company vehicle(s) to and from studios and other different locations as needed

+ Works under the direct supervision of the Production Manager and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

+ Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures

+ Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment

+ Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader

+ Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader


+ Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Assistant in the field

+ Associate’s Degree in Arts, Communication, or Production

+ Must exhibit basic knowledge of editing

+ Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish

+ Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditionsEligibility Requirements

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Must have a valid driver’s license

+ Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week

+ Must be fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read & write)

+ Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

+ Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

+ Ability to work regular hours.
