The Post Production Finance & Business Analyst is an integral member of the Global Media Operations team. This role will be responsible for the financial support, analysis, execution, and support of operations for the GMO Post Production group under Global Media Operations. This business-facing individual will meet with the various departments to identify improvement opportunities and resolve gaps using custom and/or vendor technology solutions. This critical role, reporting to a manager in Post Production, provides the unique opportunity to obtain an in-depth view of the ecosystem that processes and distributes NBCUniversal’s content to end customers.

**Specific Responsibilities include:**

+ Provide financial support to the managers and VP of Post Production in the development and completion of standardized reporting packages for internal and client usage

+ Manage all Tableau reporting; including the generation of standard and ad-hoc availability, reliability, productivity and growth reporting

+ Design and implement productivity tracking metrics and identify areas of opportunity

+ Design, track and manage personnel and overhead cost reporting against work performed, as well as other personnel cost related reports

+ Lead the quarterly and annual close process including headcount reconciliation, preparing close worksheets, journal entries, and expense accruals

+ Lead the preparation of all formal financial estimates for GMO Post Production (Budget, LRP, & Quarterly Estimates) and related analysis for the P&L; including presentation preparation

+ Facilitate weekly status meetings and review of priority operational issues

+ Partner with functional and technical SME’s to document business and technical process maps

+ Develop pitches and presentations that capture functional and operating reporting metrics

+ Lead the gathering and analysis of media management and processing metrics, identify areas of opportunity

+ Act as project manager as needed for finance, quality, productivity and growth related initiatives

+ Create ad hoc analytics to support evolving business needs

+ Partner with and develop strong stakeholder relationships with business leaders. This includes working closely with other business units across NBCUniversal

+ Strategic finance and metrics lead on all Post related projects, strategize, contribute and analyze all related metrics and data

+ Oversee the methodology and generation of all business cases and other ad-hoc production work

+ Track and manage all post capital spending

+ Perform cost benefit analysis on all technology capital and operating projects/spending


+ Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field

+ Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

+ 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting

+ 2+ years’ experience in Project Management with delivery accountability

+ 3+ years’ experience with business analysis & requirements gathering, writing, and managing use cases and functional / technical requirements creation

+ 3+ years’ experience interacting with all levels of management and stakeholders

+ Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with customers

+ Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Experience in US Media & Entertainment environment

+ Experience working in an Agile environment

+ Able to build and present PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate a message in a short and clear manner

+ Must be analytical and process-oriented and able to apply structure to complex problems

+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

+ Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
