+ Support E! and Style International Networks finance and accounting functions including General Ledger activity Accounts Payable and Controllership

+ Manage oversight of production budgets; generating weekly Cost Reports including Estimate to Complete, managing purchase order log, reviewing expense and petty cash reports for accuracy and completionResponsibilities

+ Assist Finance team to drive simplification, process improvement and standardization

+ Query, sort, identify and summarize financial data from SAP for monthly reporting

+ Accounts Payable duties; accurately code invoices and coordinate proper approval for submission to NBC Accounts Payable, reviewing accuracy of AP postings in SAP. Review and approve weekly payment runs

+ Assist in month-end Accounting close processes and reporting including journal entry postings and liaison with local offices

+ Assist and deliver quarterly reporting include Balance Sheet Variance Analysis, Various category reporting, Balance sheet reconciliations

+ Coordinate with Tax group and vendor set up regarding set up, WHT information update

+ Communicate with local offices in different time zones and plan ahead of deadlines

+ Track expenses and revenues vs. budget/reforecasts and variance analysis

+ Input and review budget and reforecast information in the BPC Budgeting system

+ Working closely with Production Management to track all costs and maintain one or more show budgets through monthly meetings and cost reports updates

+ Listing all commitments and cost estimates in PO log. Generate purchase orders as needed. Closely monitor PO activities to ensure capturing expenses in correct fiscal reporting period

+ Confirms receipt of goods and services with production coordinator.

+ Reconciles PO logs to actual expenses

+ Review payroll expenses for reasonableness and analyses actual vs. estimate variances

+ Assist in formulating and administering budget policies to ensure that all activities affecting the budget are guided by uniform rules and established procedures.

+ Review the budget periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Review with production management as needed.

+ Determine show’s estimate to complete in conjunction with production coordinators as part of weekly/ monthly process

+ Be the liaison between Production staff and the Accounts Payable department concerning shows’ expenses

+ Other ad hoc general accounting tasks and project work

+ Create and formulate Power Point presentation decks. Update with BPC financials


Basic Qualifications

+ BA/BS 4-year degree in accounting, finance or economics

+ 1-2 years of Finance/Accounting experienceAdditional Job Requirements
