**Responsibilities**

The role is part of the head-office FP&A function located in Universal City, Los Angeles. It resides within Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, a business unit generating $1.5bn revenues.



Working within the Global FP&A team, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the team with all forecasting, financial reporting and global costs management. This position reports to the Sr Manager of UPHE Global FP&A, supporting the overall FP&A team and works closely with Film HQ function, multiple Operating Companies (13), Marketing, Operations and the Global Controllership team. Candidate should display an aptitude for financial systems; prior experience in SAP/BW or Essbase is preferred but not required. This person ideally has a finance / accounting background with strong excel skills, be detail orientated, and thrive in a fast paced environment.



Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare and manage Financial Reporting suites for management review

• Support the consolidation and manage upload of Global HE forecasts/pacing

• Support the FP&A team with LRP, Budget, and Monthly forecasting processes

• Review, analyze and share insights/trends on Opco performance

• Manage financial reporting to internal corporate stakeholders (NBCUI, UCP, UTV, ITVP)

• Work closely with the FP&A team to drive simplification, process improvement and standardization across the Operating companies and Financial Reporting suites

• Support any month or quarter end processes

• Other ad hoc analyses

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance (including internships).

• Excellent excel, financial analytical skills are essential

• Experience in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook strongly preferred.
