Exciting opportunity to work at USA & SYFY, home of original series like Mr. Robot, The Sinner, Magicians and The Expanse, as well as original content like WWE Raw and Smackdown. The Financial Analyst is a part of the finance team that supports operations to drive growth of two of NBCU’s leading cable networks. This role offers the unique opportunity to learn across different areas of the business including Digital, Marketing, Research and Communications.


•Support FP&A Managers in the quarterly close process for P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet. This includes recording journal entries, utilizing reporting systems and preparing detailed financial schedules.

•Assist in operational planning processes (Estimates, LRP, Budget)

•Partner with marketing, digital and PR in all facets of the AP process to ensure accuracy and efficiency including invoice processing and acting as key point person for operators to answer questions/follow up on outstanding issues.

•Responsible for T&L and P-Card audits and Balance Sheet Summary including collection/analysis of data, summarizing results and presenting findings to senior finance leadership including Network CFO.

•Ownership of Network Overhead including estimates, pacing and quarterly close responsibilities.

•Ongoing projects and other ad hoc requests.


Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

•Prior finance/accounting related internship or work experience required

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel

•Self Starter: can effectively work independently

•Continuous improvement attitude, ability to seek out and implement internal or external best processes

•Experience with SAP Accounting / Business Warehouse a plus
