**Responsibilities**

The general producer works directly with Production Executive and show EP on the creative and operational aspects of productions.



• Oversee production of projects from beginning to end

• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas to meet ratings objectives for pre-taped and live specials

• Responsible for recruiting staff, budgeting, and overseeing production team

• Supervise the editing of stories and packages

• Organize and supervise in-house and location video shoots

• Actively manage day-to-day budgets to meet targeted business goals

• Track and manage the status of projects in development, production or post-production

• Act as liaison and advocate between the production team and other departments within the organization

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or similar discipline.

• 10+ years’ experience in editorial and live show production.

• 10+ network level; experience as a General Producer

• 10+ live shows and/or specials, or an equivalent combination.

• 10+ education and experience as general producer

• Demonstrated strong knowledge and interest in Spanish language entertainment and music Must have strong editorial and aesthetic judgment Must have prior staff management experience Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel

• Must be willing to travel for business for periods up to 3 weeks
