**Responsibilities**

As part of the GMO Program Operations team, the Global Client Operations Specialist (GCOs) works closely with their Program Operations counterparts, serving as a liaison to various departments in order to fulfill NBC content to all distribution outlets. GCOs work with all internal teams as well as network programming teams to ensure accurate and reliable completion and distribution of content.



Job Duties



+ Manage brand/client engagement for day-to-day publication of content to secondary distribution platforms.

+ Must work closely with Program Operations counterparts to stay up to date on all program deliveries, upcoming events, changes to programming and show/season launches.

+ Role will help to support requests from such groups as: TVD, content distribution, on-air promotions teams, 3rd parties (both domestic and int’l) and production companies.

+ Need to be able to quickly switch gears when priorities change.

+ Will be asked to assist on other assignments across the team for both digital and broadcast, pending bandwidth.

+ Will need to be able to quickly communicate to all partners when there are show takedowns, program schedule changes, metadata updates, late deliveries or pending late deliveries.

+ Will need to be flexible with schedule, as GCO may on occasion be shifted on weekends, holidays and off hours.

+ Communicating with clients and internal teams on package delivery transfers/issues for all distribution platforms.

+ Quality control and proofing of associated metadata fields for XML distribution packages.

+ Managing off-air records for ingest, transcode and distribution.

+ Generation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and trainings to ensure success of our 24/7 support team.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications and effective interpersonal skills

+ Minimum of 1 year in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and operations staff

+ Minimum 1 year experience showing excellent application skill with On-Air Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

+ Willing and able to work flexible hours as needed, including nights, holidays (with notice) and weekends to meet the 24/7 operational needs (example Tues-Saturday, 6am-4pm, 3p-11p, etc)Additional Job Requirements

**Desired Characteristics**



+ 1 year+ experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills

+ 1 year+ experience working with video distribution in a TV Broadcast environment

+ Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Technologies, Mass Communications or equivalent experience

+ Detail-oriented, clear thinking and adept at multi-tasking

+ Experience in multiplatform digital content distribution (e.g. Broadband, iTunes, Hulu, etc.)

+ Passion for broadcast and new media distribution- should enjoy keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
