+ Maximize station revenue by managing and controlling the station spot inventory and program sellout

+ Control station inventory and oversell by verifying all incoming orders for acceptable rates, ratings, and programming to minimize last minute changes

+ Prioritize and input make goods by identifying strategic solutions based on knowledge of inventory, market pressure, and product performance, and current pricing

+ Review and resolve all preempted commercial spots including resolution of program changes

+ Assist sales management with internal pricing and inventory communication with both local and national sales offices

+ Partner with the traffic department to insure current and updated inventory availability, sellout information and placement of bonus spots

+ Creates and/or updates ad hoc reports per sales management’s request

+ Reports to the Vice President of Sales


Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Traffic, Sales, or Media Industry experienceEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through to be considered

+ Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

+ Must be willing to work at the station in WEST HARTFORD, CT

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Change agent- must embrace and drive significant process change across the station

+ Superior organizational skills- must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence, balance, and vigor

+ Process-oriented: Analyze current processes and help implement improvements for continuous operating growth

+ Experience with WideOrbit Traffic & Sales, Nielsen Audience Measurement a plus, DFP

+ Detail oriented and good communication skills

+ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities concurrently
