Job Description:

Manages Universal Kids’ Off-Air, Partnerships/Promotion and Consumer Marketing efforts. The position requires working experience in the development of traditional and non-traditional marketing campaigns and events, multi-platform marketing/media, budget management, client and partnership management experience communication and coordination of Universal Kids marketing plans to internal and external teams and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop multi-platform marketing campaigns and plans, including oversight of regular media planning to create cut through marketing campaigns

• Interface with internal departments in order to secure requisite input/approvals for marketing opportunities

• Write proposals and presentations outlining campaign plans to attract new audiences to brand and programming

• Manage and develop Coordinator and Page on day-to-day marketing activity.

• Manage quarterly consumer marketing budget, working closely with finance to ensure accurate forecasting

• Work both independently and with Director on the overall day-to-day activity, plans and client relationships

• Build and maintain relationships within Universal Kids and NBCU portfolio to identify and create internal collaboration to strengthen marketing support and plans.

• Attend and play an integral role in all day-to-day marketing communications with agencies and clients

• Continuously identify and evaluate key marketplace trends and share with the team


Required Skill Set:

• Bachelors Degree

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a television network, ad agency or entertainment space

• Passionate about marketing with the ability to ideate and problem-solve

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong presentation skills for both external & internal presentations as well as a personable demeanor with clients & internal departments

• Results-oriented, self-motivated worker with a track record of delivering on commitments

• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel
