**Responsibilities**

The Manager, Creative Editorial will manage a team of creative producer editors as well as support larger creative Post workflows and management initiatives. This individual will build and ensure productive processes are in place for producer editors, collaborating with other members of post and brand management and staff across the creative supply chain. This individual will also play a key role in developing creative talent, leading creative discussions across the entire department and act as a key liaison to new and existing clients. Candidate will be responsible of procedures, defect/quality tracking, implementation of new processes, training and other related responsibilities.



+ Manage and lead the staff and freelance producer editor team, ensuring their talents and capabilities meet the needs of our clients

+ Play a key role in informing and leading the creative vision for the Post department as a whole, including the development of all needed creative capabilities across all appropriate operators within Post

+ Key liaison to creative personnel across all client groups

+ Maintain training matrix and scorecard for all staff, report as needed

+ Have 1:1 with direct reports and do yearly review

+ Assess personnel and processes on a routine basis to develop workflow improvements that will enable continued growth within the environment, collaborating closely with other Post leaders

+ Support creative and technical initiatives within the department. Evaluate current process and provide data and info back to management

+ Implement and oversee the hiring and training of staff/freelance producer editors as needed

+ Work with centralize schedulers on staffing to make sure all personnel needs are covered

+ Work with support teams on any system or equipment issues, new installs or testing

+ Participate in review of candidates for the possible new hires

+ Attend engineering and other post meetings when needed or to fill in for Director

**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ A minimum of 5 years’ experience in post-production and knowledge of editing and graphics a must

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

+ Avid & Adobe Creative Suite experience a must

+ Knowledgeable video formats and familiar with digital file format and codecs

+ Knowledge of editing in a digital environment a must

+ Detailed Oriented and extremely organized

+ Excellent Client Service skills

+ Working knowledge of post ecosystem

+ Excellent communications and leadership ability

+ Flexible Hours
