**Responsibilities**

**Role Summary:**

The Manager of Global Digital Marketing – Paid Media manages paid media campaigns that stimulate consumer awareness, increase purchase intent and, ultimately, deliver sales for Universal’s various movies released in the home entertainment window including Blu-ray, DVD, electronic sell through, and on-demand formats. The role will report into the Director of Global Digital Marketing – Paid Media.

The Manager will be responsible for 25+ annual campaigns that stretch across all aspects of digital media, including display, search, mobile, social, programmatic and more. In addition, this individual will help guide the associated ad creative and digital media research.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

Media Plan Development & Execution:



+ Create best-in-class plans with multiple creative and media agencies

+ Present recommendations to multiple clients, partners and customers

+ Establish, track and assure adherence to budgets, launch schedules, campaign and marketing objectives

+ Responsible for the strategy, execution, performance and reporting of the Display and Paid social campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Google’s DoubleClick Bid Manager, Amazon AAP and AMS, and etc.)

+ Share domestic plans and best practices with international partners and peers

+ Develop strong working relationships with all agencies, internal departments, international counterparts, publishers, customers, external clients and third-party vendorsMedia Research:

+ Provide analytics for regular performance reports based on KPIs and success metrics

+ Assist Director in setting goals and guidelines for media agencies, partners and publishers

+ Review reports and results. Incorporate learnings into future plan recommendations

+ Help identify the effectiveness of current and upcoming digital media opportunitiesGlobal Best Practices & Digital Strategy Sharing:

+ Help develop forward-thinking digital media strategies and guidelines for all title campaigns in conjunction with UPHE Marketing, Publicity & other teams

+ Help evaluate paid media strategies and set best-in-class practices on key platforms like Facebook and YouTube

+ Continually research and share scalable technologies, platforms and media partners

+ Share digital best practices in territories to drive continual improvement

+ Assist Director and Vice President in setting global digital media learning agenda

+ Proactively support Marketing conferences, quarterly meetings and etc., providing strategies and other materials as required.Digital Ad Creative Development:

+ Work closely with the Creative department to guide design of eye-catching digital ad creative that engages, excites and drives action.

+ Strengthen campaign’s overall creative vision and reinforce marketing objectives.

+ Integrate interactive and social elements to take full advantage of the digital medium.Budgets and Billing:

+ Support Director with managing department budgets, purchase orders and handling vendor invoices

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:



+ 2+ years of digital media experience - client and/or agency side Eligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Marketing, Mathematics or Economics a plus

+ Ability to prioritize, multi-task and be very flexible in a fast paced, changing environment

+ Ability to work individually and with cross functional teams to develop consensus within diverse groups and drive results

+ Solid understanding of, interest in and experience with digital media, movies, television and the convergence of entertainment and technology

+ Experience with Mobile and Video advertising in Paid Social and Display

+ Current knowledge of web/marketing tagging methodologies and tracking is useful

+ Understanding of Facebook and Google (YouTube, DBM, DCM) digital media platforms and reporting / analysis capabilities

+ Foundational experience in additional Paid Social platforms (Twitter, SnapChat) desirable

+ Understanding of Paid Search auction dynamics and optimization approaches

+ Understanding of DMPs and programmatic platforms

+ Experience designing and measuring media- and audience-based tests in a variety of channels

+ Daily optimization and management of campaigns within individual DSPs and Platforms

+ Strong interpersonal/communications (oral and written) and analytical skills
