The Manager, Mobile Product, will play a key role in developing & launching a game-changing new mobile video initiative at NBCUniversal.

The Manager will handle day-to-day execution of multiple implementation projects for this new initiative. This is a unique opportunity to join a start-up within a major corporation.


+ Collaborate to define feature/function requirements with team and lead the delivery of set priorities

+ Work side-by-side with the engineering, design, and project teams in development environment

+ Participate in efforts to optimize and grow app’s user base and usage

+ Ensure video content is loaded and rendered correctly in app environment

+ Maintain implementation of analytics SDKs

+ Actively monitor consumer feedback and problem solve issues within app environment


Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 3+ years of consumer internet product or program management experience, preferably in media, social, commerce

+ Experience with basic project management software like Basecamp, JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc

+ Ability to interpret data and develop creative, actionable recommendations

**Desired Characteristics**

Desired Qualifications

+ Experience with HTTP & HTTPS/SSL proxy monitoring services such as Charles Proxy is a huge plus

+ Track record of taking ownership of products / campaigns and optimizing independently based on a firm understanding of business goals

+ Solution-oriented

+ History of successfully hitting aggressive deadlines

+ Ability to prioritize and manage work in fast-paced environment

+ Passionate about solving problems and hitting KPI metrics

+ Able to work efficiently with geographically fragmented teams

+ Video / media experience would be significantly beneficial to role

+ Mobile product / development experience

+ Hands-on knowledge of iOS, Android, and other digital platforms and familiar with app store tools and submission (iTunes Connect, Google Play, Amazon app store, etc.)

+ able to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative research with business needs in mind

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Proactive thinker who can manage multiple projects at once

+ Able to meet tight deadlines
